God. I should edit some of those b_e porn meme responses into fics. But there are... there's kind of a LOT of them, and I'm intimidated by it. Perhaps I should just pick out the good ones and clean those up. But I'm rarely capable of discerning what's good, b/c I tend to dislike the stuff readers liked, and vice versa.

What I should do that would actually be proactive is make up a list of meme submissions I haven't edited and posted yet. Yeah... *EDIT* And so I did.

LIST

Oh my god. I did NOT realize how fucking ridiculous this list is. Um. I apologize for meme hogging by saying that 1) whole batches of this were done in an attempt to kickstart/revive meme at points and 2) I feel bad as a mod when people's requests don't get met and 3) I'm easily bored and like to write a few thousand words a day as a matter of routine. But still: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

So I guess the question becomes 'Were there any of the Unfinished you particularly wanted to see cleaned up/explored better, or thought were particularly worth having beta'd?'

Polished & Published

* Academy-era, Theta/Koschei, awkward but hot telepathysex. With Theta taking the initiative!
* John Smith and his various bearded and non-bearded visitors.
* Ten/Simm!Master tie!porn (because ties are cool)
* Ten/WarChief!Master (or any other pre-Delgado post-Academy Master). Ten does a bit of disaster tourism and drops in on past Masters.
* The Master realizes that if he can't beat the Doctor one-on-one, then he'll have to gang up on him.
* Shalka!Master/Shalka!Doctor and their answering machine.
* Something involving blood.
* Post Five Doctors. Five briefly stays on Gallifrey but long enough for the (highly publicized) discovery of a marriage contract between his and the Master's House.

Oh! Did y'all read this on The Other Anon Meme? I really liked it! I've never really been able to see Four/Master before, but this one /worked/ it! And v. well written! I have some guesses as to the writer, but I'm kind of waiting for it to get posted to see if any of my Maybes are right.

Okay, but, but you HAVE to tell me/write up the details of that arrangement, I seriously spent half an hour talking to grits last night about whether he knew he was going to die /just/ then. (I mean, the story doesn't need to womg spell it out, I was just left so curious) AUGH. I loved the characterization, and sacrificing Three! Womg!

The Master was clueless about the palace right up until the end, but he sensed that something was very much not alright with the Doctor, because of course the Doctor is sufficiently well-read in Indian epics to know the palace is a way to assassinate them both.

See, if I posted it properly, I would have to figure out the details myself. It goes something like this: the Master unexpectedly wins with no out for the Doctor, but he has enough sense to realize that no, he doesn't actually want to kill the Doctor properly. So he boasts that he's going to show the Doctor that they CAN rule together. The Doctor gets that this is the only way they're going to get out of killing each other, so he makes demands (no dictarship, benevolent rule, not on 1970s Earth, no changes of the timeline, etc.) But of course the Master can't bear to let the Doctor dictate all the conditions, so he takes them to historical India as a period where they'll effectively blur all the lines if they install themselves as godkings. Three balks, refuses to cooperate, mocks him that he can't even keep a simple agreement because he hasn't got it in him to be a ruler and in a fit of panic/rage the Master shows him and the awed bystanders just WHAT he can do. Only he bites off way more than he can chew, because then he has to deal with Four, and Four is even more intimidatingly arrogant than Three.

I don't think you can be too twee for me when it comes to Three/Master *g* (No, wait, that sounds like a challenge for fluffy badfic. DO NOT WANT.)

Definitely more UST for the island fic. And maybe more conflict in general (though maybe not. Once you get them to argue, there's usually no end in sight.)

Hm. That's all really well developed, actually--do you think it'd kill the atmosphere of the fic to either include that info somehow or write it as a separate thing? (the background info sort of works as foundation myth, and I do love the sacrifice element.)

And I think including the background about the palace as assassination mechanism in some way might help readers who don't have the background in Indian myths you do?

seriously - every fandom should have one of you. you start a porn!meme on a comm that you spend absolutely ages maintaining and then fill everyone's prompts for them. you are, quite simply, wonderful. i knew you'd written alot but seeing the list is quite staggering.

i haven't read most of the later ones, alas, because i'm still internet free and therefore porn free, but i loved the doctor's daughter and the master being hurt so i'm going to say those ones.

ALSO - i meant to say, but then the library computers chucked me off ages ago, that you should get used to the compliments if you are goign to continue to do all this stuff for best enemies, because really i don't know why we don't hold some sort of appreciation day for you. we should do. i will look into organising it.

also, i just read the three/master birthday thing and it was wonderful and exasperating and you shoudl add that to the list of ones to bring to the public's attention, should you still want suggestions. because it's great.

Though I DID get into a long, shippy, ridiculous contention last night that Doctor was so womg Galadriel, given to the destructive power of desire for him and the Ridiculous Hair (from incredible natural luster to gel abuse is just a quick update)...and then realized the person I was talking to had never read the Silmarilion and was Just Confused. Not a victory for Erin.
